Providing emergency services is also part of the generalhealth care and disaster management system in any municipal area.There are emergency service centres in the main towns of each of the fourlocal municipalities. These services provide good coverage and all urbanareas are well within the norm of a 10 minute response time. The largerpart of the municipal area can be reached from these centres within therequired 30 minutes. There are some rural areas, which is less accessibleand do not meet the required norms and standards.
