The role of theIDP Technical Committee s to:oooConsolidate and align programmes;Unifying the channelling of both private and public Sectorinvestments; andCombating socio-economic ills in a strategic and coordinatedmanner and strengthening partnership and integration within themunicipalities.5.10 ANNUAL REPORTUmzinyathi District Municipality has prepared the 2011/12 Annual Report as required by Section121 (1) of the Municipal Finance Management Act No. 56 of 2003 and section 46 (1) of theMunicipal Systems Act No. 32 of 2000. The annual report was tabled before Council on the 25January 2013 for approval, and was subsequently approved.Subsequent to the Council approval, the the Annual Report has been advertised for publiccomments, and submitted to the Department of Co-operative Governance and TraditionalAffairs, Auditor General, Provincial and National Treasury for comments and inputs. The2010/11 Annual Report complied with the provisions of Section 46 (1) of the Municipal SystemsAct No. 32 of 2000, and those areas are as follows:Municipality’s performance during the 2011/12 financial year along with the performancetargets are reflected; Baseline of 2009/10 and 2010/11;General Key performance Indicators to relevant powers and functions;2011/12 IDP targets reflected;Corrective action reflected;Draft 2013/14 IDP Review Page 89Prepared by Umzinyathi District Municipality22 March 2013
