The plan indicates significant progress made thus far by the municipality inaddressing challenges relating to enhanced demographics. The 2013/14 Employment EquityPlan is in the process of being developed and then be submitted to the Department of Labour.5.4 Workplace Skills Development PlanIn accordance with the Skills Development Act and Skills Levy Act, municipalities have toprepare and review the Workplace Skills Development Plan. The plan seeks to addressemployee’s skills development, scarce skills and also skills audit of the municipality.
