The municipality, in partnership with the Department of Environmental Affairs, is developing tworegional waste sites for waste management to be shared by the four local municipalities. Todate, the implementing agents for both sites have been appointed and currently working on thebusiness plans.The municipality is currently rehabilitating the existing waste sites, which are Pomeroy, Nqutuand Glencoe.
