2. Moreover, powers of the Federal Government/CBR to grant exemption
from payment of sales tax have been withdrawn w.e.f. 01.12.1998. It is therefore,
regretted that sales tax exemption on blood collection pack, disposable syringes, IV
channels/IV sets or gelatin capsule cannot be granted.
