Kindly refer to the subject cited above and find enclosed a copy of letter Ref
No.409433 dated 28.09.2007 received from M/s Delta Enterprises wherein the applicant
has informed that they have made some supplies to M/s Sui Northern Gas Pipelines
Limited against order No. T-1648/07 dated 9.3.2007 and these supplies fall in the
definition of supplies against international tender and are exempt from sales tax in terms
of S.No.4 of 5 th Schedule to the Sales Tax Act, 1990. You are requested to look into the
matter and send a report to the Board at the earliest.

REGISTRATION OF SALES TAX PAID NEW MOTORCYCLES
Dear Chief Secretary,
Kindly refer to this office D.O. No. 1(5) STB/2006 dated 03.08.2007 on the
subject cited above and find enclosed a representation of PAMA (copy enclosed as
Annex-A).
2. DG, PAMA has drawn Board‘s attention towards sales tax evasion by the
manufacturers of motorcycles by not getting all their dealers registered with the Sales
Tax Department and selling the motorcycles directly to consumers without dealers‘
invoice which is clearly a violation of the Rule 45 and 47 of SRO 480(I)/2007 dated
9.6.2007 (copy enclosed as Annex-B).
