LAUNCHING OF STREAMS PROJECT
I am directed to refer to subject cited above and to say that a notification SRO
No. 283(I)/2005 dated 31.03.2005 (copy enclosed) has been issued to launch the Sales
Tax Risk Evaluation and Management System (STREAMS) for a total of 192 large scale
manufacturer-cum-exporters of Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad.
2. The Collectors are urged to personally supervise and monitor till the new
system is fully functional. Although the trial run has been a success, any difficulties
arising during the initial phase of transformation to the new system be resolved in
reconnaissance with the Chief (STARR)/BPR and a weekly report indicating the details
