4.273 Figure 27 summarises trends in revenues associated with different film formats and<br />

windows. It shows that demand for movies across all formats appears to have<br />

declined, though with some changes in demand between the different formats. We<br />

observe:<br />

� Revenues from over the counter DVD rentals are falling sharply, but this is partly<br />

offset by increases in PPV and online DVD rentals.<br />

� There has been a small decline in revenues associated with films on <strong>TV</strong>.<br />

According to Screen Digest the value of the FTA window appears to be broadly<br />

flat over the period 208 .<br />
