Había un hombre anciano de La Riba<br />

que vivía nada más que con las migas<br />

que picoteaba del suelo,<br />

a la vez que los polluelos,<br />

por las calles y senderos de La Riba.<br />

There was an old man of El Hums,<br />

Who lived upon nothing but crumbs,<br />

Which he picked off the ground,<br />

With the other birds round,<br />

In the roads and the lanes of El Hums.<br />

que enseñó a los búhos a tomar el té;<br />

les decía: “Comer roedores<br />
