alchemical doctrine that the stone has powers of<br />
multiplication. In Genesis 49:26: "The blessing<br />
of your father have prevailed abode the blessing<br />
of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the<br />
everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of<br />
Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that<br />
was separate from his brethren." Yesod as the<br />
generative power of Tiphareth is one meaning; it<br />
is the dwelling place of the "multiplier". The<br />
separated brethren are multiplied into unity.<br />
Note: The correspondence of 7&"lq and to 7'7p,<br />
both representing the positive aspects of the<br />
North, just as 5 ~3? m25D and DDW WV are<br />
terms relating to the negative aspects.<br />

called also the Garden of Eden, prepared for the<br />

Refers to the 3rd eye which it is the purpose of<br />

top in Jerusalem (abode of peace) where contact<br />
with God is made. This refers to the awakening<br />
of the Brain center around the Pineal Gland<br />
(Mercury inner holy planet) to experience a<br />
higher mode of consciousness. [fqX, 105, "to<br />
glitter, to burn, to glow: the power from Kether.<br />
Note Zion in Assiah is the seat of Yekhidah<br />
(Kether in the physical body)] With different<br />
pointing: dryness, sigh-post, monument, quote.<br />
The east hill of Jerusalem on which the temple<br />
stood. (Mt. Moriah, sometimes mentioned as the<br />
site of the temple, is simply a peak of the hill to<br />
which the name f'7y is given). Thus Zion was<br />
the foundation supporting the temple. Hence the<br />
Zohar (Lesser Holy Assembly, page 743)<br />
identifies Zion as the feminine aspect of Yesod,<br />
the Foundation. It says "this is the feminine<br />
secret part, and in the bride (Malkuth) is called<br />
the womb. Also parched ground, desert. see 158,<br />
750, 5 13, 569, 1060 (Greek), 74 (Lt).<br />
in Psalm 1 10:2: "The Lord shall send the rod of<br />
thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of<br />
thine enemies." Psalm 50:2: "Out of Zion, the<br />
perfection of beauty, God has shined."<br />
