(Joshua 14:6]. Also forcible [Deuteronomy 1 :36]

with Thoth (Dog-headed God) of Egypt, the
Mercury (Kokab) in Hod, and the 121h Path of the

spies was Caleb. Because of his good report

Caleb signifies dog, a name of disrepute in
Israel. Yet here is a treasure of wisdom that is
part of the lore that Moses was instructed in as a
youth in Egypt. For the story of Caleb is a
figure, and Caleb the dog stands for faithfulness,
but there are deeper things than this. The
number of caleb is 52 and is a veil for m%
(Aima). Fifty-two is i3 (Ben), and -7 #%
aba ve-ama, or Father and Mother. This
represents the conjoining of Chokmah with
Binah. The Path of this conjunction of Father
and Mother is the letter Daleth and the Path of
the Luminous Intelligence which joins Chokmah
to Binah.
The first two letters of Caleb is 52, which spell
kal, the ALL. And the last two 35 spell laib, the
Heart. Kaph and Lamed add to 50, and these are
the gates of Binah, and Lamed and Beth are 32,
and these are the Paths of Wisdom. In Caleb is
concealed the secret of the ALL, which is a
Secret of the Heart. The heart of Adam
Quadman, Tiphareth the Son, into which pour all
the streams of Mezla from above. And this same
Mezla descends to the Paths below it through the
Tiphareth, the Separative Intelligence or
