1394 SERCOS Interface System<br />

The 1394 SERCOS interface system module (1394C-SJTxx-D) provides a digital servo drive system with a<br />

fiber-optic digital network interface. It can be used as a position, velocity or torque control system and is<br />

quickly commissioned with RSLogix 5000 via a <strong>Control</strong>Logix processor and SERCOS interface Module<br />

(1756-M08SE), which provides access to auto tuning and start-up prompting. The 1394 SERCOS interface<br />

system module also offers the Smart Motor interface for automatic motor identification of high resolution<br />

feedback and/or absolute position information.<br />
