Cet atelier est destiné aux chanteurs ou artistes amateurs qui souhaitent tenter une nouvelle
expérience de musique vocale, basée sur l’écoute des autres et la déconstruction du schéma
classique « groupe d’artistes sur scène face à un public ». Les participants doivent être intéressés
par un processus d’expérimentation collective où l’essentiel n’est pas le résultat à atteindre mais le
plaisir que l’on prend à suivre de nouvelles pistes pour enrichir ses sensations et son rapport à
l’autre. L’atelier vise également à entraîner ceux qui, bien que passionnés par le chant ou la voix,
n’osent pas chanter parce qu’ils pensent le faire mal, ou pas assez bien. La polyphonie musicale au
sens premier du terme sera utilisée mais aussi les sons parlés, murmurés, parlés, criés etc. Enfin, les
participants seront invités à expérimenter les possibilités de la musique amplifiée et assistée
électroniquement pour enrichir en direct la production vocale humaine. L’atelier s’adresse donc à
des personnes ayant, en amateur, une pratique vocale régulière quelle qu’elle soit (chorale, groupe,
slam, rap…) mais la lecture de la musique n’est pas un pré requis pour cet atelier.
The workshop is aimed at amateur singers and artists looking to gain new vocal experience based
on listening to others and deconstructing the classic “group of artists on stage in front of an
audience” format. Participants will be interested in collective experimentation focussed more on the
enjoyment of the process of exploration and finding new pathways in feeling and relating to others
than on the end result. The workshop also aims to bring on those who have a passion for vocals or
singing but who would otherwise not engage in it believing they sing either poorly or not well
enough. Musical polyphony in a strict sense will play a part although spoken, whispered and
shouted sounds will also be used. Finally, participants will be able to experiment with amplified and
electronically assisted music and the ways these can enrich live human vocal production. The
workshop would therefore be of interest principally to amateurs in regular practice whatever their
discipline (choral, band, slam, rap…) although an ability to read music is not a prerequisite. The

L’atelier vise à explorer la musique vocale comme un moyen de communication avec les autres audelà
du simple sens des mots, en se basant avant tout sur des nouvelles sensations sonores. L’atelier
sera animé par un comédien chanteur professionnel ayant une expérience dans l'enseignement de la
technique vocale, un directeur artistique de l’association Frères Poussière et un ingénieur du son
