Target Group + Translation:
Adult learners from all over Europe being interested in or focused on LGBT(Lesbian, Gay,
Bisexual, Transsexual)-topics and being committed to NGOs and/or social emancipative initiatives.
The workshop targets LGBT-People and Non-LGBT-People likewise - learning about the impact of
being raised in heteronormative surroundings.
Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
The participants will meet for an (international!) exchange and discussion on various topics of
LGBT life – the personal, the social, the national and international perspectives are in the focus of
the workshop. Besides working on sexual biographies, you will learn in lectures and reports about
emancipative movements, e.g. the homosexual movements of the 60s and 70s in Germany. The
workshop offers best practice of sucessfull training on gender themes as well as anti-discrimination
and biographical work.
