Grundtvig - Archimedes

We will provide seniors and youth an opportunity to better understand European customs, culture
and history. We will take an advantage from diversity to find a way to European integration.
Through discussions participants will gain experience on the practical side of past life in Eastern
and Western Europe. Thus they will improve their knowledge in the field of history and will be able
to face the obstacles that stand present on the way to deeper integration.
Whereas the majority part of the participants will be people in age 50+ we will achieve to support
mobility of seniors.
Apart of this another advantage of the workshop that participants will gain will be practical
knowledge of traditional European dances.
We are conscious that pensioners are more careful and they need more help especially in planning
their travel abroad. We will help them in searching convenient flights to our event and we will also
provide them some facilitations. We will encourage our participants to flight to Berlin (the closest
international airport to Kołobrzeg – ca. 4 hours). From there will be 3 fares of bus (from airport
directly to hotel) in different time. In this way none of them will have to wait long. There will be
also logistics coordinator in the airport in Berlin who will collect group. So it’ll give them feeling of
safeness and comfort. We will organize buses to airport also in their back trip.
The group will be lodged in the one of best hotels in Kołobrzeg, next to the sea. They will leave in
single rooms and they will have free access to swimming pool and sauna (if there is enough time for
this). We will take care of their diet (especially elderly people). The workshop will take place in the
same hotel where learners will sleep. The workshop room should be large enough, with good floor
for dancing and mirrors. There should be also equipment for running expert’s presentations. There
will be coffee break during morning and afternoon session of workshop so the participants can take
a beak.
The deadline for sending application is 15th of November.
