Target Group + Translation:
The workshop is open to all adults living in a country eligible to participate in the Lifelong
Learning Programme. People from different countries are preffered to create a rich variety of
European diversity. Adults of all ages and particularly seniors can participate in the workshop.
Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
1. Welcoming, meeting each other, introduction of the workshop programme, 5 minute
presentations of each participant and introducing the historical and cultural development of
Turkish lace works and its equipment.
2. Creating teamwork and learning basic skills of preparing Turkish lace.
3. Meeting and practising the different techniques of lace works.
4. Practising the different techniques of lace works.
5. Making lace work products.
6. Evaluation and discussions on the outcomes of the lace works.
7. Exhibiting the products of participants, sightseeing, visiting handcrafts introducation centres.
