Target Group + Translation:
The workshop is for people who want to increase communication and social skills; is open to
everybody, without regard for the attained education, work or social position, including people with
special needs. Basic knowledge of English is the only requirement. No professional skills are
requested.
Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
Welcome day (12-02-2012) Participants Registration 1° day (13-02-2012) Presentation of
L’Arcobaleno Servizi, trainers and workshop Self presentation of participants with cooperative,
artistic and theatral methods. EXPRESSIVE LAB: meeting each others. Discussion and sharing of
the contests: The cooperative method; The non verbal communication: body language, gesture,
posture, facial expressions and eye contact; The visual communication: visual arts. 2° day Role
playing about daily life situations. The anger cycle and control. ARTISTIC LAB: expressing and
sharing emotions. Discussion and sharing of contents: Communication style: communicating
feelings and desires in a constructive way. Differences between assertiveness, passivity and
aggression. 3° day The “cake” of personality. Balance of competences. RELAXATION LAB: the
mindfulness approach. Discussion and sharing of the contents: Self awareness and self esteem: how
to know yourself: improve your potential and express your own personality. 4° day Role playing
about daily social situations. Positive and negative feedbacks. THEATRE LAB: living in a group.
Contents: rules, roles, social dynamics and relationship 5° day FINAL LAB: representation of the
birth and development of this group using all the approaches. Dissemination plan. Conclusion. 18-

Practical arrangements Candidates contact the host organization to euprojects@arcobaleno.re.it,
sending the preregistration form. If the participants number is more than the maximum limit, the
host organization will do a selection. Participants are housed in a hotel near the location of the
workshop. Special arrangements must be communicated. The host organization covers: -all the cost
of subsistence; -travel until a limit of 400,00 euro per person. Criteria and financial rules are
included in the preregistration form.
