People who want to: think together about their families and both cultural and social influences,
finding their common values; learn about different types of families and the evolution of their rights
in the European context; Extend their personal, social and/or working involvement at the national
and European levels. Human rights activists and people who work with families are particularly
welcome.

Day 1: Oct 3th Arrivals, welcome dinner
Day 2: Oct 4th Introduction to the workshop; Gender, family structure and family synergies
Day 3: Oct 5th Role play: families, gender identity and gender expression Family rights are human
rights – what does Europe tell us about families of LGBT people?
Day 4: Oct 6th Positive parenting: past, present and future Field study: visit to an innovative
institution
Day 5: Oct 7th Participation in the international conference “Families are plural: acknowledging
diversity, respecting uniqueness” organised by ILGA Portugal and ISCTE-IUL
Day 6: Oct 8th What is happiness to you and how can we and our families help spread it?
