Target Group + Translation:<br />

adult people from Europe: unemployed persons, adults not involved in formal adult education;<br />

adults who want to increase their abilities in photo techniques / documentary as part of an art -<br />

social interest and, also, in a perspective of gaining new work skills; adults that have the desire to<br />

learn about different European communities and to meet, work, organise discussion groups with<br />

people from other countries / cultures; no professional skills are required.<br />

Main activities Programme + Programme translation:<br />

- Presentation of the LLP, <strong>Grundtvig</strong> and European Commission Policies on Adult Education; - An<br />

introduction to the photo-documentary in Europe and Romania (multimedia presentations); -<br />

Practical work with photographic equipment / techniques in photo-documentary; - Presentation of<br />

the history, culture, social background and ecology of the region; - Visits to the local points of<br />

interest / getting to know the surroundings and the possibilities for making the documentaries; -<br />

Interactive outdoors working / Short trips to the chosen old occupations sites (sheepfold related<br />

activities; traditional stream whirlpools; traditional water mills; farriery / horse shoes; hayharvesting;<br />

forest related activities); - Image processing on computer technology; - Printing<br />

images, organizing and participation to the vernissage; - Evaluation by delivering of (1) an<br />

individual portfolio from each participant and (2) presenting a virtual and a printed vernissage with<br />

their work; (3) final evaluation procedure / questionnaire; - Preparing multimedia CDs for<br />

participants and creating internet pages / profiles.<br />
