Participants should: - wish to learn technical skills and digital publishing methods - be concerned with their national and European environment - feel the need to spread their opinions according to the principles of citizen journalism Main activities Programme + Programme translation: The workshop provides a complete knowledge of the technical aspects of citizen journalism. ”Multi-media citizen journalism out of a backpack” puts simple digital tools and skills at disposal of non-professional participants to encourage them to manifest their opinions, comments and reviews about social, political, economical, ethical and alternative concerns, empowering them to practise citizen journalism in the European context. Participants learn how to handle the equipment (recorders, photo cameras, video cams, notebook) and how to use the digital programmes to enhance and publish the captured issues. The used software will be exclusively free ware and open source applications which are accessible for everybody and will be provided. The Workshop addresses towards European adults with • basic interest in the topic sustainability • as well as the readiness to consider and change the own lifestyle if necessary. • in particular adults, who work in topic-related organizations and offer to meetings or trainings. No previous specialised knowledge needed. Main activities Programme + Programme translation: Den TeilnehmerInnen wird ein umfangreiches Wissen zum Themenkomplex Nachhaltigkeit vermittelt. Sie werden mit verschiedenen Methoden aktiv in den Lernprozess einbezogen und mit ihnen gemeinsam werden Konzepte entwickelt, wie sie selbst aktiv werden können, um ihren Lebensstil nachhaltiger zu gestalten. Die Workshopinhalte umfassen: Bewertung der Nachhaltigkeit unseres Konsums nach der Methode cleanEuro (www.cleaneuro.at), Alternativen zum Konsum, Ökologischer Fußabdruck, Mobilität, Postwachstum, Vision vom guten Leben. In methodischer Vielfalt wird vermittelt, dass weniger Konsum/Wachstum nicht Verzicht, sondern Bereicherung – im Immateriellen – sein kann und dass das nicht nur eine Überlegung im Kopf ist, sondern auch eine des Bauchgefühls und der Herzensbildung. Viele Gelegenheiten zur Reflexion des Gehörten und persönliche Begegnungen mit Menschen, die bereits einen nachhaltigen Lebensstil haben, runden das Programm ab, und unterstützen vom Wissen zum Handeln zu kommen. Participant will be taught extensive knowledge in the field of sustainability. They will be involved actively into the learning process by different methods and will develop concepts together, how to become active to shape a more sustainable lifestyle for themselves The subjects of the workshop include: Evaluation of the sustainability of our consumption according to the method cleanEuro (www.cleaneuro.at), alternatives to consumption, ecological foot print, mobility, degrowth, visions of a good life. In methodical diversity we will show, that less consumption/growth isn’t a disclaimer, but is enrichment - in immaterial contexts. It is not only a brain decision, but as well a gut decision and nobleness of heart. Many opportunities for reflection of the heard are given as well 25
