tradition and architecture constitutes the basis of the attitude of tolerance and mutual understanding.<br />

The Poleski Art Centre which commences the project has the premises, experience in organizing,<br />

knowledge on the possibilities to acquire EU and self-government funds, credibility with the local<br />

government, competent instructors and technical staff, computer base and a website where the<br />

workshop site will be created.<br />

The workshops will take place at the Poleski Art Centre premises. Architectonical advantages of<br />

Poleski Art Center – renovated, modernnistic Villa from 1920s enable work in intimate groups and<br />

also compounded park (over one hectare) favor recreation of participants. The organizers provide<br />

accommodation in single rooms at the Focus hotel. During last year’s edition of workshop staying<br />

at the chosen hotel (standard, service, close distance to Poleski Art Center) was highly rated. The<br />

workshops will be monitored by the organizers and voluntary workers. Meals (full day) will be<br />

provided by the organizers through catering. Dinners and suppers will be Server in Poleski Art<br />

Center’s cafeteria, breakfast in the hotel.<br />

All the information concerning transportation: hour of plane arrival, Warsaw-Lodz railway<br />

connection time-table, schedule of bus connecting Okecie airport and Warszawa Centralna railway<br />

station and telephone number to Poleski Art Center and volunteer participants will receive on e-<br />

mail few days before arrival, to minimize possible stressful situations and unpredictable problems.<br />

If requested we will buy plane tickets (after consulting and choosing convenient departure hours)<br />

and send via e-mail in suitable time. After arrival to Lodz all participants will be taken care of by<br />

volunteers who will take them to the hotel. The content side will be provided by lecturers from the<br />

University of Łódź, employees of the Independence Tradition Museum, the Tolerance Institute,<br />

Ronald Lauder foundation, teachers and journalists. The voluntary workers will offer help and<br />

support, each participants will be given the protection of a volunteer. We provide didactic materials.<br />
