Target Group + Translation:
The target groups include adult learners in disadvantaged communities within Europe and activists
who are keen to improve their communities and engage with other learners through voluntary
activities.
Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
The main activities will include; Learning how to make celebratory lanterns from sustainable and
low-cost materials; Learning how to create celebratory music from percussion and other instruments
suitable for processing with and organising a lantern parade (small promenade arts event) in a
community. Participants will also have the opportunity to improve their project management skills
in order to achieve a successful community celebratory event. Documenting the learning for an online
toolkit will be available to participants after the workshop.
