will get back home with a sample made by yourself after a one week’s stay in the Bavarian hat city
of Lindenberg. Included in your luggage there will also be numerous new impressions around this
multifaceted subject of “hats”. Fashionable aspects and handicraft, guided tours in museums and
factories, cultural and industrial history and above all the exchange of ideas and views on this topic
with like-minded people all over Europe are scheduled. Accompanying these days in Lindenberg
with its various excursions a film and a homepage on this project will be created. Lindenberg’s
annual “Hat Day”, on which occasion the German Hat Queen is elected, takes place every two years
and it highlights the end of this workshop week. We are looking forward to anyone who is in the
mood for hats and is keen to get to know the varied dimensions of the “hat” topic. Whether your
interest in hats is of fashionable or technical nature, whether it’s your private pleasure to wear hats
or whether it’s your hobby: we will give you our warmest welcome!
