recycling, participants will learn to produce various products with their own hands. Participants will
be able to apply these skills at home in their daily routine. Examples are: ENERGY GENERATED
FROM TRASH Electronic waste is in fact a resource which can be used to build your own domestic
appliances! One example is turning parts from refridgerators and other old equipment into devices
which produce wind or solar power. BUILDING AND RENOVATING – THE ECO-FRIENDLY
WAY The production of waste can be avoided by using environmental friendly materials like
untreated wood or clay. Participants are invited to build products like cutting boards, shelves, bird
houses or simple chairs. An introduction into clay building is provided. Participants will learn how
clay building techniques can be applied in their own home. The workshop takes place in a location
which is surrounded by nature. The premises are built according to principles of sustainable
architecture.
