Target Group + Translation:<br />

The target group for this workshop will be diverse in respect to ethnicity, nation, race, religion,<br />

language, economy, education, age, health, disability, gender, sexual orientation, and more. The<br />

group will include people migrating to (or within) Europe, people currently living in both<br />

‘geographic’ Europe, and EU states, interested in personal and collective identity, improving<br />

communication, conflict facilitation and deepening intercultural dialogue in society, and making an<br />

active difference to the future of Europe and the world.<br />

Main activities Programme + Programme translation:<br />

This dynamic workshop focuses on identity and diversity, communication and conflict facilitation;<br />

and your dreams for contributing to your neighbourhood, community and a changing Europe and<br />

world. Morning sessions will focus on: 1. Personal and collective awareness of issues of identity<br />

and diversity 2. Creative blocks and self-esteem issues, including internalised judgment based on<br />

history and prejudice in respect to class, education, gender, ethnicity, religion and nationality 3.<br />

Personal development, following your deepest dreams and active citizenship 4. Methods to<br />

formulate your vision and to map or orient to your future and your community. Afternoons we will<br />

focus on: 5.Communication and conflict facilitation skills with family, neighbourhood, society. 6.<br />

Panels and group process on issues of our diversity and identity in multicultural Europe 7.<br />

Facilitating awareness of dynamics of rank, power and transforming history, in respect to ethnicity,<br />

race, religion, nation, language, gender, sexual orientation, economics, education, disability, age,<br />

health and more.<br />

The workshop has a diversity of learning formats and styles, including presentations, discussion,<br />

panels, personal reflections, exercises in pairs, in small groups and large group interactions. All<br />

styles are welcome, whether more introverted and quiet or more active. The workshop will also<br />
