Target Group + Translation:<br />

1. Adult volunteers / leaders involved in the work of associations and non-profit organizations<br />

operating among students from diverse backgrounds (including international backgrounds). Leaders<br />

who are interested in supporting and preparing young people for a professional and personal life of<br />

integrity.<br />

2. Adults interested in obtaining personal development and deepening leadership and team building<br />

skills. Adults curious about innovative, creative learning and the methodology applied during the<br />

workshop.<br />

Main activities Programme + Programme translation:<br />

The choice of creative and innovative workshop methods determines the success of achieving the<br />

desired objectives and satisfaction of participants. Guided by this principle and rich experience<br />

organisers chose a sailing trip as a "tool" in achieving the objectives.<br />

1. Developing leadership skills (leadership):<br />

a. defining goals skilfully and clearly,<br />

b. planning actions and measuring their costs,<br />

c. developing communication skills in a team.<br />

2. Building teamwork skills:<br />

a. the division of responsibility in the team,<br />

b. "team spirit",<br />

c. building relationships.<br />

3. Working on your own personal development (character building):<br />

a. identifying your personality type and abilities,<br />

b. counselling and mentoring,<br />

c. developing creative way of thinking.<br />

4. Building intercultural awareness.<br />

After 6 days of workshop participants will acquire new competencies and skills:<br />

1. Knowledge of the principles of teamwork.<br />

2. The ability to define the purpose and vision.<br />

3. Effective interpersonal communication.<br />

4. Knowing their personality type (to better understand themselves and others).<br />

5. The diagnosis of their strengths and weaknesses (leader profile).<br />

6. Conscious planning of further personal development of a leader.<br />
