RZ302, Leadership and Ethics: Examine
the importance of ethical decision making in
setting a positive climate that enhances team
performance. Training also includes small
unit battle drills, road marches, combat water
survival, confidence course and tactical reporting.
Periodic leadership labs, physical training
sessions and a weekend field training exercise
are mandatory course requirements. (U)(3).
RZ401, Leadership and Management: Begin
the transition from cadet to lieutenant. Focus
on attaining knowledge and proficiency in several
critical areas to operate effectively as Army
officers. Coordinate activities, manage training
and lead the cadet battalion. Periodic leadership
labs, physical training sessions and a weekend
field training exercise are mandatory course
requirements. (U)(3).
RZ402, Officership: This course completes the
transition from cadet to lieutenant. Topics include
the legal aspects of leadership, administrative
and logistical management, and reporting to
a new unit. A Capstone Exercise challenges
cadets to solve problems commonly faced by
junior officers. Periodic leadership labs, physical
training sessions and a weekend field training
exercise are mandatory course requirements.
