Social infrastructure Social infrastructure refers to the community facilities, services and networks that help individuals, families, groups and communities meet their social needs, maximise their potential for development and enhance community well-being. The study area’s social infrastructure services a wide population and community providing a number of nationally and internationally valued assets (refer to Table 6-26 and Figure 6-3).
