b. Adjust M4 vertically and horizontally to center the reflected<br />
images from Mg and Mj onto Ms.<br />
If you have a ps-only system without prisms, skip to step f. If you are<br />
converting your <strong>Tsunami</strong> from a fs to a ps laser, or vice versa, refer to<br />
the section "Converting Between fs and ps Configurations" later in<br />
this chapter and perform the appropriate procedure, then return here.<br />
c. Close the shutter.<br />
d. Remove the slit assembly.<br />
WARNING<br />
Support the slit assembly with your hand when loosening the setscrew<br />
to prevent it from falling off the shaft and damaging the optics below.<br />
Loosen the setscrew holding the slit assembly to the spindle of<br />
the control micrometer, then slide the slit down and off the micrometer<br />
shaft (Figure 6-9).<br />
e. Open the shutter.<br />
f. Place a white card in front of the input to the A10 modulator<br />
(AOM).
