Golf carts and vehicles will befor the exclusive use of the Logistics team. NPCs will not be permitted to hire or bringtheir own carts or vehicles into the Villages or venues at any time.Regular pedal-powered cycles will be permitted in limited numbers but must besecured in areas designated for bike parking. 4.4 Paralympic Rowing Village4.4.1 Paralympic Rowing Village overviewThe Paralympic Rowing Village is based at Royal Holloway, University of London inEgham and is in close proximity to the competition venue. The Village will be thehome to all Rowing athletes, NPC team officials and Games officials. LOCOG hasalso confirmed that NPCs may purchase beds within this Village for their AdditionalTeam Officials (As).The university is normally home to 8,000 domestic and international students withpost-graduate, research and language school institutes. There is an Arrivals andDepartures zone which includes the Welcome Centre function in addition to theTransport Mall. This can be accessed through a Games-only dedicated gate to thenorth of the residential area.The Transport Mall is connected by a common road (used both by Games and campusoperational traffic) to the residential area.The other two zones are the upper Residential Zone containing the Hub facilities(described later in this section) and the lower residential area.The Village has a security fence which is controlled by normal Games securityprocesses of accreditation checks and Pedestrian Screening Areas (PSAs) whereappropriate.
