The Paralympic Rowing Village does not have a Village Plaza similar to theParalympic Village and therefore the whole Village will be designated as a ResidentialZone.Residents should note that significant elements of the educational campus of RoyalHolloway, University of London will operate as normal during Games time, except thatin the absence of accommodation for students their presence will be in small numbers.4.4.4 Welcome CentreThe Village Welcome Centre is located next to the Transport Mall and will be open 24hours a day. Accreditation services will be available from 07:00–23:00 from 22 to28 August during the peak arrivals period in the Welcome Centre. Arrivals submittedon the Arrivals and Departures System (ADS) will be managed according to needswhile out of hours and unannounced arrivals will be managed via an on-call service.4.4.5 Guest pass requestsAs previously indicated, NPCs will receive a combined guest pass quota for allVillages. Guest pass entry on any day will be subject to the same process asdescribed in section 4.1.7. As there is no specific Village Plaza, guests will beallowed into the residential area provided they are accompanied at all times by aresident with an ‘R’ on his/her PIAC. Athletes and NPC team officials will be housed in residential accommodation, most ofwhich has been developed in the last five years. Residents will enjoy single occupancybedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. A lounge will be provided for every eightbedrooms with soft furnishings and a television, as in the Paralympic Village. Theaccommodation is spread across seven accommodation blocks. Bedroom furnishingsexceed those in the Paralympic Village because of their single occupancy and recentdevelopment.
