An ongoing review and verification of the application datawill be conducted with each NPC before and after this deadline.Before producing the Pre-Valid Cards, LOCOG will ask each NPC to participate in anaccreditation data verification process. This process is very important for the followingreasons:- The athlete accreditation information will be transferred into an online entry system(ePEQ). Inaccurate or incomplete athlete accreditation data will prevent an athletefrom appearing and thus being entered in the Sport Entries system.- Accurate accreditation data will allow LOCOG to print the Pre-Valid Cards withthe correct access privileges for NPC team officials, so their accreditation cardswill not need to be reissued after the DRM.- If the data is modified after the Pre-Valid Card has been printed, the Pre-ValidCard holder may be required to undergo a new security background check, whichwould delay his/her accreditation validation process and may invalidate his/hervisa waiver.- In cases where NPCs submit incomplete or incorrect accreditation data and/orphotographs, LOCOG will not be able to print and distribute those Pre-ValidCards before NPCs travel to London for the Games. In such cases, NPCs will berequired to make their own immigration arrangements for travel to the UK.3.1.4 Pre-Delegation Registration Meetings (Pre-DRMs)The objective of the Pre-DRMs is to prepare both LOCOG and the NPCs for efficientDelegation Registration Meetings (DRMs) by addressing as many issues as possible inadvance. In particular, the Pre-DRMs help ensure that the Pre-Valid Cards are printedwith correct data before they are sent to the NPCs.
