Accompanied baggageAll accompanied baggage will be transported with the athletes and NPC teamofficials on the same coach, wherever possible. The bags will be loaded onto thecoaches on a first-come, first-served basis. If the baggage hold of the coach is full andadditional capacity is required, separate trucks will be used to support the coaches.LOCOG will provide assistance to the athletes and NPC team officials in the loadingof baggage onto coaches and trucks. The trucks will travel with the coach to ensurethat athletes, NPC team officials and their baggage remain together.Unaccompanied baggage and sport equipmentNPCs are expected to nominate a freight forwarding agent and broker to assist withthe movement of freight and equipment from their home country to the UK. Please referto section 3.4 for further details.Firearms, pistols and ammunitionPlease refer to section 3.4.4 for further details on the arrival process for shootingathletes arriving with firearms, pistols and ammunition.NPC Presidents and Secretaries GeneralAll NPC Presidents and Secretaries General will receive a T3 transport service fromHeathrow Airport to the Paralympic Family Hotel or to other LOCOG T3 officialdestination hotels.3.3.12 Airport parkingAirport parking during LOCOG transport operational period (22 August – 12September 2012)Limited short-term car parking spaces will be available free-of-charge to NPCs whowish to pick up or drop off their delegates at Heathrow Airport, provided the NPCvehicle displays a valid Paralympic Vehicle Access and Parking Permit (VAPP). Furtherinformation will be provided in the Chefs de Mission Manual. The number of airportparking spaces designated to LOCOG will be limited and will be assigned on a firstcome,first-served basis.
