Converted single-deck low floor buses (28 seats, 4–6 wheelchair spaces) will be usedfor all other TA services.5.2.8 TA system load zonesAt Heathrow Airport, arrangements will be put in place to ensure the athletes andNPC team officials can easily board and disembark TA arrival and departuretransport services.TA system load zones at training and competition venues will be located as close aspossible to the athlete entry points.The TA system load zones in the Paralympic Village will be located in the TransportMall to the north of the Village and within the secure perimeter. At the ParalympicRowing Village and Paralympic Sailing Village, all load zones will also be in theTransport Mall. The IVTS will stop at various bus stops along the Village routes withinthe secure perimeter of the respective Village (Paralympic Village and the ParalympicRowing Village).5.2.9 Spectating athletesSame Discipline Spectating Athletes (SDAs)These athletes will use the existing TA system. They will be dropped at the athlete loadzone and directed to their seats from the athlete entry points. Load zones willaccommodate the accessibility requirements of the athletes. Please note that prioritywill be given to competing athletes using the TA system.Different Discipline Spectating Athletes (DDAs)NPCs are encouraged to promote the use of public transport to travel to LondonParalympic venues outside of the Olympic Park. NPC clients will be entitled to useLondon’s extensive public transport network free of charge during the course of theGames. For venues that are not easily accessible by public transport, a DDA transportservice will be provided.The planning principle for DDAs it that athletes will be able to share the existing TAsystem to travel to competition venues to spectate.
