Athletes and NPCteam officials are requested to check the availability of online check-in services ontheir chosen airline’s website. When the online check-in process is complete, theirbags can be dropped off the day before departure as per the RCI process. Once abag has been dropped off remotely, it will be transported securely by LOCOG toHeathrow Airport ready for the delegate’s flight.6.1.3 Standard check-inDelegates who do not choose to participate in RCI or online check-in, or where theservice is not available, should check in for their flight according to standardprocedure at Heathrow Airport. In this situation, special arrangements should be madewith the carrier. 6.2 Village Check outLOCOG will develop a process which NPCs will be required to follow prior to theirdeparture from London.Departure Inventory and Inspection (I&I)NPC Services and Relations will confirm with each NPC the date and time of thedeparture I&I at the Paralympic Village, the Paralympic Rowing Village, theParalympic Sailing Village, as well as at the Grooms’ accommodation.During the departure I&I, LOCOG staff will compare the condition of the space andinventory with the documents signed by the NPC upon arrival, and determine ifanything is damaged or missing. NPCs must be present during this inspection.A similar process will be followed for Grooms’ accommodation.LOCOG may apply charges for damaged or missing items (including keys), nonstandardcleaning (for example, cleaning the smell and damage from smoking in therooms), or removal of items left behind. NPCs will be required to pay LOCOG for alldamages prior to departure.Vehicles and mobile telephonesNPCs will be responsible for returning dedicated and Rate Card vehicles, along withmobile telephones.
