4.9.3 InternetInternet lounge in the Paralympic VillageThere will be an Internet lounge in the Paralympic Village, which will offer free-ofchargeinternet access on desktop PCs.Internet access in residential apartments in the Paralympic VillageLOCOG will provide free-of-charge internet access in all residential apartments in theParalympic Village. Further details on this opportunity will be explained in the Chefsde Mission Manual.Wireless hotspotsLOCOG will offer free-of-charge individual username and password accounts to allParalympic Village residents allowing them to access internet Wi-Fi hotspots asfollows:- All resident centres- Media centres- DRM Waiting Area in the Welcome Centre- Village Plaza CaféPlease note that there will be no Wi-Fi in the Paralympic Village dining halls. Any requirements greater than those outlined above can be requested via the RateCard, such as additional dedicated internet services or higher capacity internetaccess.NPC private wireless networks at the Paralympic VillagesNPCs will have the ability to set up their own Wi-Fi hubs following prior coordinationwith LOCOG. Approval is given on a non-interference basis. Please note that priorcoordination is mandatory. LOCOG retains the right to disconnect any Wi-Fi hub thathas been set up without prior coordination.Please take note of the following conditions:- LOCOG cannot guarantee agreeing to the set-up of private wireless networks asits commitment is to the security of critical Games operating systems;- Application for Wi-Fi coordination is via the Rate Card portal; and- LOCOG will provide no technical support for private Wi-Fi services.4.9.4 Info +An Info + workstation and black-and-white A4 printer will be provided in each NPCoffice (see section 4.2.4 for further details). Info + is the new, improved version ofINFO, the official Games information system. Info + offers a range of content asoutlined in the table below and for the first time includes near real-time results for fiveof the Paralympic disciplines (Athletics, Cycling – Road, Cycling – Track, Swimmingand Wheelchair Basketball). Content will be offered in both English and French andpresented in a clear, user-friendly way.
