NPC administrative and medical spacesAs these areas form part of the designated quota and space reserved for each NPC inthe Paralympic Village, no specific provision will be made at this Village for suchspaces. However, LOCOG is conscious that NPC sport-specific team managers havemany responsibilities in the areas of administration and medical support. During theallocation process, LOCOG will try to facilitate the requirements of NPCs.4.4.7 Resident facilitiesThe principal area for these facilities consists of a cluster of buildings and is to befound in the upper Residential Zone around the Hub.The Hub is the central athlete services provision with:- Dining hall for up to 500 residents;- NPC Services desk;- IPC NPC Delegation Relations desk;- 24-hour resident centre;- Games and internet lounge;- Multi-faith room;- IPC Athletes’ Council Voting Area;- Rowing sport information desk;- Gymnasium;- Bookable meeting rooms; and- Serviced laundry.The full list of retail and other services to be provided here is still under consideration.However, where it is not possible to secure a direct service within the Village,provision will be made to either provide that service at specific times during the daythrough a mobile service or enable residents to access the service off site locally.Resident centres and servicesThere will be one resident centre in the upper Residential Zone providing a 24-hourservice and a second resident centre in the lower Residential Zone providing servicesfrom 07:00–23:00.
