3.3 ArrivalsMost previous Games Host Cities were served by just one or two international airports.London is served by five international airports and an international rail station.LOCOG has selected London Heathrow Airport as the official Port of Entry for theLondon 2012 Games. At Games time, the airport will operate with four terminalsnumbered 1, 3, 4 and 5. All terminals operate international flights, while domesticflights only operate from terminals 1 and 5.As a result of these multiple options, each NPC is required to provi<strong>de</strong> complete andaccurate information on its travel plans in or<strong>de</strong>r to facilitate the best possible arrivalsand <strong>de</strong>partures experience3.3.1 Arrivals and Departures System (ADS)LOCOG offers a web-based Arrivals and Departures System (ADS) for the London2012 Games. LOCOG recommends use of the web-based ADS as the easiest way tosubmit your data. The system will import data from the eAccreditation system to saveNPCs from entering basic <strong>de</strong>legate <strong>de</strong>tails again. It will also be possible to importdata from other systems. The system will allow NPCs to submit information on allarrival and <strong>de</strong>parture movements, oversized baggage and any special requirements.Alternatively, data can be provi<strong>de</strong>d through a manual form, which LOCOG willaccept by email, fax or mail. All methods for data collection will be available inEnglish and French.Instructions on how to access the ADS website or, alternatively, the manual form willbe provi<strong>de</strong>d together with the accreditation package <strong>de</strong>scribed in section 3.1.1, inJanuary 2012.Timings for data submissionPre-Games arrival and <strong>de</strong>parture data must be submitted by NPCs no later than 1August 2012. However, NPCs are encouraged to submit this data as early aspossible.LOCOG recognises that some arrival information may change prior to a <strong>de</strong>legation’sarrival. If travel plans change, NPCs should update their information on the ADSwebsite or submit a new manual form.
