The Pre-Valid Cards can be used as an entryvisa to the UK with a valid passport.Please refer to section three for further details on Press accreditation.Non-accredited mediaLondon & Partners (formerly Visit London) will be managing the London Media Centrefor non-accredited media. Non-accredited media who wish to come to London duringthe Games to cover related news should contact Mark Howell at London & Partners(mhowell@londonandpartners.com).5.9.4 Main Press Centre (MPC)The MPC is located in the north-west corner of the Olympic Park in Stratford, adjacentto the Media Transport Mall, Catering Village and the International Broadcast Centre(IBC). A High Street adjacent to both the MPC and IBC will accommodate a number ofretail services that will service all accredited media. These services will include ageneral store, a courier service, a bank and a merchandise store.The MPC is approximately 2km from the Paralympic Village entrance and can bereached by loop road shuttle bus (approximately seven minutes) or on foot(approximately 25–30 minutes).MPC facilities and servicesAt the entrance of the MPC the media will find the main help desk staffed byvolunteers cross-trained by both Press Operations and Language Services.The MPC will have a press workroom and a photo workroom (each with its own helpdesk) with workstations that are pre-cabled for power and internet connectivity.
