- If travel to and from Heathrow Airport from the NPC’s capital city on these dates isnot possible, adjacent dates that provide the lowest economy fare will be used.- Most direct route:• Europe: non-stop if possible.• Africa, Americas, Asia and Oceania: maximum of one stop if possible.- Transit expenses are not included.- Promotional airfares and low-cost carriers will be excluded.- Calculated and communicated in British Pound Sterling (£).LOCOG will communicate the amount of each Support Grant to NPCs in October2011.3.2.2 Support Grant paymentsFirst paymentSixty per cent (60%) of the total proposed Support Grant amount will be paid byLOCOG by 29 June 2012 or within 30 days of an NPC’s Pre-DRM.Projected qualified athletes who can be confirmed by LOCOG Sport Entries will beincluded in the calculation.Final paymentThe balance owed will be paid by LOCOG before 30 November 2012, based on thefollowing principles:- Total Support Grant owed, less the first payment.- The total Support Grant will be based on the final number of eligible individuals(Aa, Ab, Ac, Am and Ao) who activated their accreditation for the London 2012Paralympic Games in London.- The NPC will have settled any outstanding LOCOG invoices (Accommodation,Rate Card, Ticketing, Transport and Villages).3.2.3 Additional conditionsEach NPC’s Support Grant will be paid directly into its specified bank accountregistered in the NPC’s name (payments will not be made to a third party).London 2012 – NPC Chefs de Mission Dossier42
