- Laundry delivered from 07:00–12:00 will be available for pick-up the same day;- Laundry delivered after 12:00 will be available for collection from 12:00 thefollowing day; and- Uncollected laundry bags will be kept in the laundry for 72 hours after which theresponsible NPC will be contacted to arrange immediate collection.Laundry will be washed and dried but will not be folded or ironed. Irons and ironingboards will be available through the resident centres for personal use.Teams requiring washing, dry cleaning and pressing of team uniforms, team strips,Judo suits and other similar non-regular items will be able to use the drop-and-collectpay-on-demand service in the Village Plaza at a charge to the NPC.Multi-faith centreLOCOG will provide a multi-faith centre for worship and meditation. It will containrepresentatives of the following five religions: Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islamand Judaism. The centre will be managed by a LOCOG faith coordinator supportedby an experienced group of sports faith advisors accustomed to working with highperformance athletes. The centre will also provide support and links to other religionsand faiths.4.2.6 Paralympic Village food servicesAthletes and NPC team officials – dining privilegesAthletes, Chefs de Mission and Regular NPC team officials will have unlimited accessto the Village dining. This dining privilege is also available to Additional TeamOfficials (As) and is included in the cost of their accreditation (£2,300).Guests/visitorsGuests will be able to purchase food and beverages in the Village Plaza café.Accompanied guests will be able to dine in the Main Dining Hall in exchange for asingle meal voucher purchased from the Catering desk in the NPC Services Centre(£20 per voucher). Should an NPC wish to return any unused coupons at the end ofthe Paralympic Games, it may do so and the amount will be credited to its accountprovided this does not exceed the initial number of vouchers purchased.London 2012 – NPC Chefs de Mission Dossier87
