UPS will also operate a shop insi<strong>de</strong> the Paralympic Village. This will be based in theVillage Plaza and athletes and NPC team officials may use the shop to provi<strong>de</strong>packing and global courier services against a preferred pricing tariff.3.4.3.4 Bump-out periodBump-out is the period during which NPC freight can be picked up in the most efficientmanner without disrupting venue operations. NPCs are requested to remove theirfreight (including containers) from the Village and venues during the NPC bump-outperiod.Paralympic VillagesNPCs will be expected to pack and palletise all of their freight. Once complete, allNPC freight and kit must be moved to the NPC secure storage area and a requestma<strong>de</strong> to LOCOG Logistics to help move these pallets and boxes to the Logisticscompound ready for the NPC freight agent to come and collect. NPCs will be requiredto book a pick-up slot with LOCOG Logistics at least 48 hours in advance in or<strong>de</strong>r tomanage the number of freight agents arriving at the Logistics compound. All NPCequipment must be removed from the Village by 14 September 2012.VenuesNPCs will be required to have all equipment removed and taken to the ParalympicVillage (the exception will be equipment from all other Villages and firearms andammunition from Royal Artillery Barracks). Logistics will provi<strong>de</strong> vehicles and resourcesto move this equipment back to a central storage area within the Village, unlessadvised by the NPC to store within its own area. During bump-out, this equipment willbe moved, in accordance with instructions from the NPC, to either the remote check-inarea or the Logistics compound ready for pick-up by the NPC freight agent.3.4.4 Commodity-specific informationFirearms and ammunitionVisitors to the UK must <strong>de</strong>clare all firearms in writing.
