QuotasAssistants will be assigned to each delegation according to its delegation size (Aa,Ab, Ac, Am and Ao). As shown in the table below, there is a separate Assistantallocation for delegations competing in Sailing and Rowing. Each NPC will determine the specific responsibilities andduties of NPC Assistants in accordance with policies and procedures outlined byLOCOG.Recruitment and trainingNPC Assistants, recruited for their language skills, local knowledge, driving ability,availability and positive attitudes, will participate in an extensive pre-Games trainingprogramme beginning in July 2011 and continuing until June 2012. Training willinclude an overview of the Paralympic Movement, the structure and Games-timeoperations of an NPC, LOCOG policies and procedures, as well as sport, transport,venues and Paralympic Village operations.Assignment of NPC Assistants to a delegationBy June 2012, NPC Relations will provide each NPC with information about itsassigned assistants.
