Terms and rental periods for vehicles are different and are shown in the Rate Cardcatalogue.During Games time, any new Rate Card orders, amendments or cancellations must bemade at the NPC Rate Card desk in the NPC Services Centre in the ParalympicVillage and in the NPC Services areas of the Paralympic Rowing Village andParalympic Sailing Village. Most prices will increase by 25 per cent compared to theNormal Order Period, and some products may have reduced availability or no longerbe available.4.8.4 NOC/NPC rebateA rebate will be offered to the NPC, where its NOC counterpart has rented the sameproducts for the same location for the Paralympic Games. This rebate will be sharedequally between the NPC and NOC. This reflects a proportion of the reducedtransition cost incurred by LOCOG. The rebate will apply to the price of the item only,and deposits will still be required from both the NPC and NOC. The NPC and NOCwill both be required to check in and check out the items they have ordered.4.8.5 Deposits and refundsLoss and Damage (L&D) deposits, where applicable, are listed next to the items in theRate Card catalogue.Usage deposits, where applicable, are listed next to the telecommunication services inthe Rate Card catalogue.One deposit invoice covering all L&D and Usage deposits, and covering all ordersplaced during the Normal and Late Order Periods, will be issued between 1 and 15June 2012.LOCOG will inform the NPC of the amount to be refunded, and will make everyreasonable effort to pay all refunds or other monies related to Rate Card owed toNPCs, no later than 30 November 2012.Value Added Tax (VAT) reclaim on some Rate Card items may be possible.
