5.1.2 Dignitaries’ accommodationLOCOG offers NPCs the opportunity to reserve guest rooms for their Head of State,Head of Government, Sport Ministers, other prominent Government officials,entourage, security personnel and other guests at a variety of hotels across London.The allocation of rooms to NPCs at these hotels is subject to availability. If rooms arenot available at the desired hotels, LOCOG will assist NPCs in finding additionalaccommodation for their guests.Please note that the reservation of these guest rooms does not automatically constitutea right to accreditation for these guests. An application for accreditation must besubmitted by the NPC for each individual through the regular accreditation process in2012.Booking periodsLOCOG has rooms available at the hotels for the following dates:20–28 August 2012 pre-Games period29 August – 9 September 2012 Games period10–12 September 2012 post-Games periodFor the pre- and post-Games periods indicated above, LOCOG has a limited numberof rooms available. In the event that the volume of requests for these periods exceedsavailability, LOCOG makes no guarantee that all requests will be met, or that theguest rooms will be secured at the Paralympic Games room rates.LOCOG does not have any guest rooms contracted outside these dates. However, wewill assist interested NPCs with reserving appropriate accommodation, subject toavailability.Room release policyNPCs may release up to 30 per cent of rooms from their allocation until 27 February2012.
