Venezuela
1997 Monagas 30 year concession 552,000 water
A two year management contract for Hidrocapital (650,000 people) was gained in 2002.
Colombia
1997 Tunja 10 year concession 120,000 water
1999 Monteria 20 year concession 263,000 water
1998 Bogota 20 year concession 2,500,000 water
The Monteria concession was gained by Proactiva Medio Ambiente in December 1999 and will
generate Ptas29 billion in revenues, with Ptas10.5 billion in investments over the contract life.
Argentina
2000 Catamarca 30 year concession 200,000 water
Proactiva was awarded the contract in April 2000 for water supply management for the departments
of Capital, Vallejo Viejo and Fray Mamerto Esquiú in the province of Catamarca. Revenues over the
concession will be Ptas60 billion. Capital spending will be Ptas7 billion.
