The Princess and the Frog was her favorite movie ever and every time we
watched it, she gushed about how handsome Prince Naveen was. And he
was. He’s definitely in my top three hottest Disney princes.
Maddox looked nothing like Naveen, but the costume made him
recognizable.
“I am so taking a picture to send Adam.”
“No need, he’s meeting us there.” I frowned.
“What? You asked your partner— who you know will never let you live
this down, to meet us in front of Valentina's school to actually see you in
action?”
“Yup. He has something I need and I didn’t have time to go get it before,
so he’s bringing it to me.” Okay, now I was intrigued.
“What is it?”
“Not telling you, it has to stay a surprise.” I groaned, looking at him.
“Seriously? Come on, Maddox, tell me!”
But he didn’t. I tried to guess the whole ride there, to no avail. He just
wouldn’t budge. When we finally made it to Valentina’s school, some parents
were already waiting out front but the kids weren’t out yet. I also recognized
Adam’s car. He got out as soon as he saw us park and made his way towards
us.
We got out too and people were already starting to stare at Maddox.
As soon as Adam saw him he clapped his hands and started laughing
hysterically.
“Oh, man, what have you become?” He shook his head at Maddox in
mock disappointment and I laughed too. Maddox simply rolled his eyes and
stared at his friend.
