5R ABS TABLE CONFIGURATION (S/N 69-0001 TO 69-<br />

1160)<br />

NOTE: Confirm your system serial number falls into the above category.<br />

To configure the correct ABS table, use the following procedure:<br />

1. Power on the system and allow it to boot <strong>com</strong>pletely.<br />

2. Insert the diagnostic disk (00-876781-01) in the rear of the Workstation.<br />

3. Press the SETUP OPTIONS key on the Workstation.<br />

4. Select Access Level 2, then Access Mainframe Menu.<br />

5. Select option "J" ABS Index File Editor.<br />

6. Select option "A" Edit ABS Index File. The following table should appear:<br />

NOTE: Do not change the PLS Rate, VLI Ofst, or the P VLI Ofset settings.<br />

7. (a) If your screen matches that the one shown above, no changes are necessary.<br />

Press ESC twice, then select A to return the system to normal. Press ESC twice<br />

again to clear the right monitor.<br />

(b) If your screen does not match the screen shown above, select option "E - Select<br />

Record" to configure the system. Follow screen instructions to save these changes.<br />
