Mechanical Assemblies 11
FLIP FLOP BRAKE
A friction brake is located in the neck of the Flip Flop assembly. Handles are
located on both sides of the Mobile C-Arm. The brake is used to prevent Flip-
Flop movement.
The Flip Flop brake pads rest inside the neck of the L-arm and can be removed
easily once the Flip Flop Assembly has been removed.
Brake Adjustment
If the end of the brake handle moves more than 2-1/2-inches before brake
tension is felt, turn set screws (located above the brake handle) 1/8 to 1/4 turn
clockwise and retest.
