14 Image System Calibration 6. Rotate the camera so it scans the mesh tool in the orientation shown in Figure 12. This ensures the CCD camera is scanning "against" the gird lines. This allows for optimum resolution capability. NOTE: You may also scan against the grid lines with an image rotated 180° to the one shown in Figure 12. Either orientation will work fine. Place the tool at a 45§ angle to the image intensifier grid line/pairs (in either orientation) as shown in Figure 13.
